Mid-year Meeting!
We would would like to gather to discuss parking updates, treasury updates, social updates, the El Cid Home Tour in Spring 2025, neighborhood beautification and proposed developments. Please join us via Zoom on June 25th at 6pm to hear these updates and share your feedback.
Proposed Neighborhood Developments:
Now that the neighborhood has heard directly from the developers of 319 Belvedere (The Frisbie Group) and The Carefree (Charles Cohen), the ECHNA board would like to hear your feedback on what you think of both proposed plans.
The latest update we have on the Frisbie Group's current proposed plans presented on May 21st to our neighborhood for 319 Belvedere is that the Frisbie Group plans on submitting to the City on June 11th with an anticipated hearing date before the Planning and Zoning board on September 17th. They plan on seeking a change to the Future Land Use Ammendment (FLU) and underlying zoning for Multifamily and rezoning to a Residential Planned Development (RPD).
The latest update we have on Charles Cohen's current proposed plans presented on June 4th to our neighborhood. We have been notified by the developers team that they will be requesting a continuance to next month. It was the City’s recommendation that the item be pulled while they continue to work with the neighborhood association. With this in mind, it is our understanding that the City will be canceling the June 18th Planning Board meeting. The presentation that was shown during the June 4th meeting be found HERE.
This gives us a little more time to get your feedback on both proposed plans, update petitions to circulate for your signatures and draft and send letters to our mayor and city commissioners. We need your involvement so these properties can be developed with the input and feedback of our residents, ensuring that they align with our collective vision for a vibrant and thriving community.
